From directly above, a dense forest canopy in autumn fills the entire frame with red, orange, yellow and green. Each tree crown is a separate patch of colour, packed tightly against the next like a woven texture. A thin road winds through the forest and draws a single pale line across the pattern. It is a rich, textured image that reads as both landscape and abstraction.
The rich, warm colours suit restaurants, hotel bars, offices and villa living rooms furnished in autumn tones. It pairs with walnut, leather, wool, copper and dark green. The portrait format fits tall walls and stairwells, and the image works from a distance as a field of colour and up close as fine detail.
