Botanica

Works about plants, from close studies to open landscapes: peonies in a bronze vase against black, a monstera shadow on plaster, a fern unfurling, an ancient olive tree at golden hour, tulip fields in bands of colour. Some are dark and rich in the manner of still life painting, others light and airy, and all are calm in composition.

Botanical works soften an interior and connect it to nature. The pale, gentle pieces suit practices, spas and bedrooms, while the darker still lifes and the warm olive and monstera scenes belong in restaurants, bars and dining rooms.
