Ocean

Nine works about the sea in its many states: still water at blue hour, a wave lit from behind, foam on pale sand, a lagoon seen from above. What connects them is a calm, open sense of space and a palette of blues, silvers and greys that changes with the light. Some are graphic and spare, others rich in colour, and all are composed for large formats.

Ocean works open up a room. On a long wall they act almost like a window and add depth to bedrooms, lobbies and waiting areas. The cooler pieces suit treatment rooms and suites, while the warmer, brighter images belong in dining rooms and in spaces close to the water.
