Room
A single white lotus flower rises above the surface of a dark, still pond. Round lily pads float around it, and a soft morning mist hangs over the water. The light is gentle and diffuse, so the white petals glow against the darkness without harsh contrast. The composition is minimal, with the flower as the only bright point in a calm, shadowed field.
The quiet composition suits treatment rooms, waiting areas, spas and hotel bedrooms, as well as meditation or reading rooms in a villa. It pairs with dark wood, stone, linen and soft green textiles. The wide format suits long walls above benches or beds, and the image keeps its calm in both daylight and dim evening light.
