A sharp snow-covered peak rises above a sea of clouds at first light. The summit catches the alpenglow in pink and gold, while everything below it remains in deep blue shadow. The cloud layer lies flat and soft beneath the mountain and separates it from the valleys below. The contrast between the lit summit and the cool shadows gives the picture a clear vertical focus.
The image suggests clarity and height, which makes it a fitting choice for executive offices, boardrooms and hotel lobbies, as well as chalet and villa living rooms. The cool blues and soft pinks pair with grey stone, oak, wool and white walls. It needs a large wall and a viewing distance of four metres or more to work at full scale.
